NMMG is also the sponsor of “SkegEx” – the annual International Meccano Exhibition that (bar Covid)  has been held every summer in Skegness, Lincolnshire, for decades!.

The North Midlands Meccano Guild (often just known as NMMG) is one of the UK’s leading clubs for Meccano enthusiasts.  

It counts men and women,  young people and children among its members and welcomes to its meetings modellers of all standards, as well as collectors, dealers, and those who just enjoy a chance to see what others have brought and to chat with them.   

This web site runs in parallel with the Guild magazine, “Newsmag”, but through these pages we try to keep up to date with all those topics relating to our hobby that come up more frequently than our magazine can be issued.

Membership subs: £25.00 pa for UK members, payable in September. Higher charges may apply to foreign subscribers because of postal charges.  Please note that subs are payable in September are now due and will enable members still to receive their regular Newsmag. Meetings take place are three times a year at Oxton Village Hall, NG25 0SA (north of Nottingham) and are normally held on the third Saturday of January, May and September. Doors open at 9.30am.
